Who's Playing in This Year's #alamobowl?

Pac-12: The “top dog” in the Pac-12 will be decided this weekend when #7 Stanford travels to Tempe to take on the #11 Arizona State Sun Devils. Both teams enter this weekend’s match-up with a 10-2 record overall. The Sun Devils have only met defeat once during this year’s Pac-12 slate, a 42-28 loss to Stanford. Arizona State can advance to the Rose Bowl for the first time in 17 years with a win. Stanford is no stranger to the bright lights that comes with a game like this. The Cardinal handed #16 UCLA a 27-24 loss to advance to the Rose Bowl in the Pac-12 title last year. Not only is this the highest ranked matchup in Pac-12 Championship game history (this is the third installment), but also the first time a Pac-12 South school has hosted the game.

Big 12: The bowl picture in the Big 12 is as undefined as ever right now with three teams vying for the conference crown. #6 Oklahoma State (10-1, 7-1), #25 Texas (8-3, 7-1) & #9 Baylor (10-1, 7-1) sit in a three way tie atop the Big 12 rankings. With a win over Oklahoma, OSU can clinch the Big 12 title and punch their ticket to Tempe for the Fiesta Bowl. If the Sooners can hand OSU another conference loss this weekend, the winner of the Baylor/Texas matchup in Waco will be crowned Big 12 Champion. Make sure to tune in this weekend to see how things shake out.
