This year’s Valero Alamo Bowl Game Halftime Show Head Choreographer is award-winning Chuck Maldonado, best known for his work on Stomp the Yard, and the Step Up movie franchise.
Chuck not only has been instrumental in choreographing over 28 feature films, but has also worked on countless commercials and TV shows such as So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With The Stars, America’s Best Dance Crew, X-Factor, and The Grammy’s. Chuck has also worked with artists such as Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, Missy Elliott, Fergie and Pink to name a few.
“I am extremely grateful and excited to be choreographing this year’s Valero Alamo Bowl in San Antonio, TX. I get the opportunity to work with our youth and future dancers which allows me the opportunity to motivate, inspire and help them be the very best they can be. I have always said that the things that excite you are not random. I believe that they are connected to you on purpose. It’s exciting to think that some of the best moments of our lives haven’t even happened yet. Can’t wait for this one to happen!” Chuck said.
WorldStrides OnStage programs fuel the halftime show performance bringing dancers and cheerleaders from all over the world to perform in the Alamodome.
