With the Valero Alamo Bowl team announcement this Sunday, excitement is building for the return of bowl season to San Antonio, and all of the unforgettable experiences it brings. The fun kicks off immediately with this year’s Valero Alamo Bowl Golf Classic!
On Thursday, December 8th, both head coaches will head down to San Antonio for a morning press conference at The Club at Sonterra to discuss their excitement of playing in the 2016 Valero Alamo Bowl. Following the press conference golfers will be treated to an all you can eat buffet-style lunch. The scramble golf tournament tees off right after lunch, with prizes and complimentary food vendors scattered throughout each of the two courses.
Guests will have a chance to take home a host of prizes:
- Hole prizes (gift cards to Margaritaville, Dave & Buster’s, Hard Rock Cafe, and more!).
- Raffle prizes (including a football autographed by each head coach and a Valero Alamo Bowl Fossil Watch).
- First, second and third place prizes for the top three foursomes on each course.
Along the way, golfers will be able to sample complimentary dishes and drinks from Cheesy Jane’s, Kiolbassa and Tito’s Handmade Vodka. The day wraps up with dinner and an awards presentation ceremony. No matter how you hit them, every participant will walk away a winner with a drink tumbler and a Valero Alamo Bowl golf jacket!
