Bowl Season and Genius Sports Launch Ultimate College Football Pick’em Game

Bowl Season, the organization representing the bowl games played in the college football postseason, in partnership with Genius Sports is set to launch the Bowl Season Pick’em game on Sunday, December 8, challenging fans to predict winners and strategically rank their confidence in each bowl game matchup.

Players can rank their picks to win each game of the upcoming college football postseason from 1 to 47, with correct predictions earning points corresponding to their confidence level. For example, if a fan ranks their most confident pick at #1, they’ll earn 47 points if correct, while their least confident pick at #47 would earn 1 point. The Grand Prize is two tickets and airfare to the 2026 CFP National Championship Game along with other great runner-up prizes.

The game features multiple ways for fans to participate and compete:

  • Public pools open to all participants
  • Private pools for friends and family groups
  • Team-specific pools automatically grouping fans of the same school
  • An innovative “Team Challenge” competition rewarding schools based on fan
participation, bowl game victory, and community service

“This partnership with Genius Sports transforms how fans experience Bowl Season,” said Nick Carparelli, Executive Director of Bowl Season. “By combining the fun of prediction with the strategy of confidence rankings, we’re creating a more engaging way for college football fans to follow every bowl game.”

“The Bowl Season represents college football at its best and we’re excited to launch the new Pick‘em Game to add a new competitive dimension to the fan experience,” said Sean Conroy, Executive, Vice President at Genius Sports. “By testing fans’ knowledge while providing them with a platform to compete with friends and family, the new game will bring fans even closer to the live action.”

Genius Sports provides bespoke gamification solutions to the world’s largest sports leagues and organizations including the NFL, FIFA, MLB, and many more.
