Each year the Valero Alamo Bowl awards at least one $7,500 scholarship to a deserving student at every San Antonio area high school.
Last year 94 high school seniors received this Valero Alamo Bowl Student-Athlete Scholarship to use at the college of their choice.
Our 2024 winners and their families will be recognized at the H-E-B Scholarship Awards Luncheon courtesy of H-E-B. The winners will then also be recognized on-field during the Valero Alamo Bowl courtesy of game tickets provided by Frost and the Valero Alamo Bowl.
Combined with the Bowl’s college scholarship program that features a match from all six San Antonio universities, the Valero Alamo Bowl will award over $1 million in local scholarships this year which is the highest total among the 42 bowl games
