The Valero Alamo Bowl announced that Cristina Aldrete, Mainak Bardhan, Carolyn Hinchey Shaw, and Chris Sherman have joined their volunteer Board of Directors.
“We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to add these four civic-minded individuals to our Board of Directors,” said Clyde Rucker, 2024 Valero Alamo Bowl Chair. “We look forward to them helping us deliver an outstanding impact for our game and community.”
Prior to her current position as Managing Partner of Aldrete Strategic Partners, Cristina Aldrete spent the last 9 years in leadership roles with the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. She is a member on the Greater San Antonio Chamber’s Tribute to Women Business Leaders steering committee. She is also a fundraising campaign committee co-chair for the Alameda Theatre, and a 2022 San Antonio Business Journals Women’s Leadership Award Honoree.
A 2002 San Antonio Business Journal (SABJ) 40 under 40 award recipient, Mainak Bardhan, is a Manager Director at Accenture Federal Services and has been with Accenture for over 18 years. He is based out of Accenture Federal’s Advanced Technology Center in San Antonio and helps lead the Center’s 2,000+ people. Mainak is also a member of the Board of Directors for Goodwill San Antonio and a founding member of the Military Trailblazer training program with Salesforce.com.
Carolyn Hinchey Shaw is the Executive Managing Director and Partner for Stream Realty Partners San Antonio-overseeing the market’s operations and driving its overall growth across all of Stream’s platforms. Shaw has been with Stream for 15 years and served in her current role since 2020. Outside of Stream, she serves on The University of Texas at Austin Real Estate Center Council’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors. A San Antonio native, Shaw is connected with many local organizations and charities including Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority San Antonio Alumni, Alamo Heights School District Parent Teacher Organization, the DoSeum and The Believe It Foundation.
Chris Sherman is the regional president and head of Corporate Banking for PNC Bank, San Antonio. With more than 15 years of experience, Chris is responsible for delivering PNC’s largescale banking capabilities at the local level, helping meet the needs of customers and communities throughout the San Antonio region. Sherman serves on the board of investors for the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, the board of directors of Junior Achievement of South Texas, the advisory board for the United Way of Bexar County and the board of governors for UT Health Mays Cancer Center.
