The 2024 Valero Alamo Bowl will be played at the 65,000 seat Alamodome in San Antonio and broadcast on ABC on Saturday, December 28. The game will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CST. It will be the first time the Bowl has been played on a Saturday since 2016, when TCU tied the Division I Bowl record for largest comeback by overcoming a 31-point deficit to beat Oregon in 3OT.
The Valero Alamo Bowl has featured teams from the Big 12 and Pac-12 since 2010, and this pairing has provided high scoring, entertaining games averaging over 65 total points while delivering a top 25 matchup eight of the last 10 years.
While we won’t know this year’s matchup until Sunday, December 8 (and schools have yet to even start their fall camps), these media outlets have already projected some possible matchups:
